This is the wild west movie for those who don't like wild west movies. Eastwood is the penultimate gunslinger for my generation. Most would take "Unforgiven" over this, but while "Unforgiven" makes the gunslinger human, Josey Wales is looking to be human but just can't run away from his reputation.
