For a movie made in the 70's, this movie holds-up, as I've just watched it for the first time just this weekend. I found it thoroughly entertaining, but wouldn't have enjoyed it near as much without Clint and Chief Dan George, who play off each other so fabulously.
What a pair. What a great story. We need more like this from Hollywood.
