Review of The Out-Laws (2023) by Bagelspot — 10 Jul 2023
I don't understand why so many people think this movie is bad. It's a masterpiece. The plot is symbolic and talks about finding the meaning of life in a world oppressed by a fascist and capitalist political system.
The acting was one of the best in decades and the actors were clearly devoted to their characters. Stunning production design, cinematography, editing and score, which build a very emotional and empathetic atmosphere.
I hope this can get recognized at the Oscars and even win best picture, that would be a relief after the disastrous, woke, recent wins such as The Godfather or Parasite. My second favourite movie of all time, right behind Green Book.
