Kidman is my favorite, and in a horror film, so of course I loved this one. There is no gore and I don't think there's any CGI either. Film just relies on great acting and old school scares. I never saw the ending coming either, which made it that much better.
Kidman is just fantastic here, and I love how the film lets her slowly go a bit mad with what is happening around her: kind of an explanation to how it happened with the twist too if you think about it.
The daughter is also quite good.
It is a very slow burn thriller, so if you want gore and in your face death scenes, this is not a film for you.
