In the same vein as the supernatural classics "The Haunting" and "The Innocents," Alejandro Amenabar's "The Others" is a delightfully spooky horror film that offers up a classic haunted house story, almost no special effects, quietly disturbing scares, a surprising ending, and an absolutely terrific performance from Nicole Kidman.
