Review of The Other Woman (2014) by Laisey S — 07 Sep 2014
There's something about this film that just doesn't add up. While the cast is pretty great and the premise is interesting, the film never really lives up to it's fun and fanciful ideas and in turns becomes to self absorbed within itself.
The writing even shifts the film into unnecessary territory and you feel like you're watching two films in one, dragging out the inevitable ending, which in my opinion (while fun to watch) was a bit too violent for its own good.
Predictable in many ways and unoriginal (The First Wives Club did it much better); I can honestly recommend films that showcase the power of feminine right and progression. But not this one.
