Review of The Other Woman (2014) by Augustina S — 05 Dec 2015
I could excuse it for being immature and uninspired if it offered some genuine laughs but, alas, it does not. It is neither clever nor particularly interesting, instead resorting to the most basic, overdone shtick to get laughs.
I thought it was juvenile for most of the film, then it got to the end, and somehow it reached a peak-low in both tact and maturity. It IS possible for a revenge flick to be smart and funny, but this, unfortunately, was neither.
Abysmal.
