Review of The Other Woman (2014) by Kyle C — 27 Jul 2015
What? Another Cameron Diaz movie that I like, what's going on here. I can't lie, I laughed and I laughed a lot, and sometimes at her which is very odd for me. Leslie Mann is a little annoying in this at the beginning but calms herself down and acts more like herself, she has so much energy and charisma that it's hard not to like her.
Kate Upton, what can I say, she wasn't cast in this for her acting skills, unless running in slow motion is acting. This starts out a little slow for about the first half hour, but when the comedy starts in the second act, it doesn't stop and this becomes very funny.
There are a couple of scenes that are copied right out of other movies, but what movie doesn't borrow from others anymore? I think this is going to be the surprise of the year for me because I was not expecting to like this as much as I did, but I did.
RECOMMENDED for the laughs, not the acting.
