Review of The Other Guys (2010) by Lucius M — 28 Mar 2013

I went in to this looking for some laughs and it delivered. The scenes with Eva Mendes were hilarious and Ferrell does a nice job of playing the straight guy with issues. Wahlberg is underrated as an actor with a comedic touch. Some of the lines that he delivers with a straight face are totally funny.

The car chases and explosions are a bit much and I would have enjoyed the move more if it had focused less on delivering an action plot, but more on examining the main characters.

...watched this again for the fourth time and now have to call it a modern classic. Love the TLC references!
