If you LOVED Date Night,.

You will probably LIKE this.

Sadly, this is Date Night lite - with a little less funny.

I was gunning to see this bc both leads are otherwise hilarious.

Separately, I LOVE Will! Mark is great! They seemed to be trying too hard, and are somewhat mismatched here.

I was disappointed.

I hoped for some camaraderie, or even an snl skit or something.

They each take time to play the "straight man" so the other guy can play off it and do something funny, but it never rises above a misfire. Its all just 'okay.'.

Kinda paint-by-numbers script, which could have allowed both leads to be truly funny, but they never really use their "moments" to cut loose, play off each other, or just be funny.

A real shame.

I LIKED Date Night, and Wahlberg had some solid funny in that;.

I LOVED Baby Mama w Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as a successful comedy pair where both play off each other Very well, and are a HOOT.

See either of these movies instead.
