Amusing (though never quite hilarious) send up of buddy-cop action flicks. The proceedings lumber along for 2/3's of the running time (though the last act is much more lively), and its most enjoyable when venturing off into the absurd - almost exclusively dealing with Ferrell's home life and forgotten past.
