One word: Intrigue. Amazing performances and plot twists, with a few disturbing scenes. Basically made me feel the helplessness of women seeking any form of control in this era and the poison of ambition.
Beautiful cinematography and breathtaking attention to detail. Disturbing and strangely intriguing.
