I was mostly attracted to it because of my being an avid 'The Tudors' fan; yet, this film also proved to be an interesting depiction of its era. Your attention will mainly go to Johansson as the starring actress and Bana, who perfectly fits to the prototype of the Victorian monarch.

However, if you come to make a balancing between this film and 'The Tudors', the movie stands poor ground...
