Review of The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) by Robert G — 26 Feb 2010

Nice movie, I am fascinated by the whole concept of royalty especially back in old times. I think everyone has heard this story, even if they don't know it that well. The story focuses on the Boleyn sisters and there relationship with King Henry VIII.

The story works well for a movie because the whole truth is not known since they didn't keep very good records back then, I think they took quite a few liberties with the story. The acting is great, not just Portman, Johansson, and Bana but the supporting cast is great.

I would recommend the movie to all but not kids, don't be fooled by the PG-13 rating. Ann Boleyn (Portman) gets rapped on screen, no nudity but still should be R.
