Review of The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) by Tuukka P — 10 Jun 2010

The tale of Ann Boleyn and her sister Mary during the reign of Henry VIII of England. A quite typical costume drama with beautiful locations and costumes as usual. Johansson and Portman do their best with the British accent but some NY is still there try hard as they might.

This feels a bit like a "cleaner" version or Hollywoodian take of the story. Showtime's the Tudors is much more better adaptation of these years.
