Review of The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) by Zack M — 10 Sep 2010

I actually enjoyed this movie more then I expected to. It is intense throughout with a pretty interesting story. The performances were great, and Natalie Portman proves once again that she is the finest(in every sense of the word) working actress in my opinion.

The main pitfall for the character's is that they are not developed well enough, and even the best acting in the world cannot fix that. The scenery is also notable and truly well filmed. The cinematography is actually well done across the board.

It was an enjoyable movie, but without much substance behind the plot or the characters it ultimately fell short of being great. It's worth a watch however, if only once.
