Review of The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) by Stephen W — 30 Sep 2010

I thought the cast was good. The weakest of the three was Bana. He seemed lost.

Portman was amazing IMHO.

It's a really interesting story. It kind of went over my head when it came out that it was about Anne Boleyn (duh.).

But I though the idea around the whole story and how it was made was really great. Also it's absolutely beautiful to watch.

I didn't think the script was all that weak.

It could have been stronger, but I think it hit where it needed to.

I haven't read the book, but now I am interested in it. I also watched the special commentaries by the author and she said she appreciated how the movie was made.
