Review of The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) by Heidi J — 11 Dec 2011
Great movie with story based on the history of England, though there are lots of details not aligned to and unconfirmed in the history. The story is brilliant to focus on the dramatic power struggling and relationship between the Boleyn sisters with King Henry VIII. One thing that I don't really sure is about the relationship of Anne and Mary after Anne risen in power. From history, Mary should not be so forgiven to what Anne did to her. Also, Mary is the elder sister of Anne in the England history. Anyway, the story is still great and enjoyable.
All casts are performing great in the movie, especially Natalie Portman, who acted Anne Boleyn with dramatic turning points of her life.
In short, this movie is worth watching.
