Review of The Osterman Weekend (1983) by Sarah F — 15 Jun 2006
A very strange but ultimately satisfying thriller with a great cast. It's a little confusing throughout, but luckily all of the loose-ends are tied up in the conclusion, which I thought was very interesting. I can imagine if someone caught this on cable and didn't finish it, it could seem almost Lynch-ian in how confusing it is.
However, it's plagued by very bad 80s style and music, and some of the slow motion bits are so overdone that it's annoying.
Anyways, it's alright. :).
