Review of The Orphanage (2007) by Riley H — 08 May 2010
This is awesome until the final 5-10 minutes. I understand that the ending fits the story, given the Peter Pan thing, but I still don't like it. I think it is entirely too positive for a horror movie.
The movie is definitely super creepy right up until the end. But finding happiness isn't scary, dammit. If it ended at the window, instead of continuing for seven minutes or whatever, it would have been totally awesome.
