Review of The Orphanage (2007) by Christopher K — 24 Jul 2010
A tale of a missing child with a Supernatural twist.
I expected this to be a scary horror, that would be on another level to the usual Hollywood fare.
It had all the ingredients needed. Big scary house, deserted beach, scary cave..... and wierd children straight from The Shining school of acting.
However this is not a Horror film, more a Drama with an edge. This does not mean it is not a good film, because it is.
Special note to the main actress in the film, who was very convincing.
