Review of The Orphanage (2007) by Alanna H — 14 Aug 2010

It was surprisingly good. I had no idea it was in Spanish (L2 read before I rent.. seriously), but i'm a fan of subtitles, so it's all good. I loved the creepiness of it, and I thought the story line was brilliantly played out.

HOWEVER (yes, there is a however) I think the ending wasn't quite as good as the rest of it. In fact.. there was one part where I thought it had ended and I would have been thrilled because it made sense.

. but then they just dragged it on and all I could think was.. "seriously?" when the credits started rolling. I get what they were trying to do though, and this is all just personal opinion. I think it's worth a rent though if you like ghost stories :).
