Review of The Orphanage (2007) by Sayan M — 18 May 2011
Awesome, AWESOME movie. It had me on edge the whole time. It wasn't really scary, more suspenseful and creepy. You can sort of interpret it in many ways, which I think makes it really cool. I bought into the ghost element and believe the children were real (or as real as the ghosts of dead children can be anyway) while a friend of mine is convinced it was all in Laura's mind.
Definitely interesting. The kind of movie that, the more you watch it, the more things you discover. Highly recommend this movie. It was awesome. If they do end up making an English version I can only hope it's as good as the original Spanish one.
