In terms of film-making, this is one of the finest ghost stories ever imagined. It pulls you in and draws you out. The triple-arch ending is deftly handled and leaves you feeling both conflicted and at ease.
There is something beautifully Gothic about this film. It does not leave you wanting; it does not disappoint.
