What is cleverly disguised as a horror flick (maybe cleverly but it still kept me up two nights) is truly a heartbreaking tale from Guillermo del Toro. In truth I was expecting a down to the last second terror ride but that is not what I got.
I won't spoil it for you but I will say that things aren't always what they appear to be. I don't know if I can recommend this as it's been days and it still haunts me. I still maintain that I want to vacation in Guillermo del Toro's head.
I'll leave the final decision up to you.
