Review of The Order (2003) by John M — 04 Sep 2009
In a creepy half-world inhabited by demon children, dark sorcerors and immortals, a rogue priest investigates the death of his mentor. Interesting ideas, fans of John Constantine will likely be into it.
Unfortunately the wealth of ideas makes the pace uneven, as the action is broken for much obscure philosophical and theological discussion, of little interest to anyone except possibly a Carolingian priest.
