Really enjoyed this film despite not bring a big fan of Hugh Laurie.
A comical and at times moving story of two close families destroyed when the eldest daughter of one family has an affair with the husband of the other family. The film takes place between Thanksgiving and Christmas and it very funny.
Allison Janney is fantastic as the angry and controlling mother, a part that seems as if it were written specifically for her.
A great alternative Christmas movie and highly recommended...
