Review of The Opposite of Sex (1998) by Philip G — 20 Jun 2008
Acidic, acerbic drama, with Wednesday all grown up and hilariously un-PC. The writer-director lets the film down a bit trying to be too clever, and its anti-gay (with a capital ANTI) narration is so OTT as to make it obvious he's gay himself (maybe with some self-hate issues).
However, look past all that and you'll find a real gem of an indie movie.
