Review of The Open House (2018) by Madison G — 02 Mar 2018

This movie was incredibly disappointing. There were so many different directions it could've taken, but it didn't. The audience is left cheated as they are not given the answers they deserve after sitting through 1 and a half hours of not much happening.

A compelling back story is built and then abandoned, leaving its existence pointless. A range of suspicious characters within the town are introduced, however, end up having no impact on the story whatsoever.

An interesting concept that was just poorly executed.
