Review of The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure (2012) by Seth L — 31 Aug 2012

Really, there's something very special about The Oogieloves in the BIG Balloon Adventure. It's clear this movie was made with kids in mind, and as a father of three (2 boys and a girl) I appreciate that much more than a beautifully animated story with evil characters and scary encounters. This movie doesn't look as beautiful as a Pixar film, but it's fun and creative and full of great songs. The interaction built into the format is exceptional, and all three of my kids are still talking about the Oogieloves two days after seeing it. And still doing the Oogieloves' cheer.

I hope Hollywood pays attention to this movie and starts to put out more films like the Oogieloves. It really is a perfect family experience. Your kids will love you for taking them to see this.
