Review of The Onion Field (1979) by John P — 12 Sep 2011
Based on a true story, and a great beginning with a weak ending. James Woods is scary and excellent. Ted Danson is good here, and John Savage, well, is stiff. It has a 70's tie-everything-up-with-a-nice-bow ending, which is annoying.
However, it is still a good movie as a whole. This is a movie that would be prime for a remake.
