Review of The Ones Below (2016) by Cory H — 10 Apr 2018
This is one of the most unnerving and tense films I have seen in a long time although I would say that viewers with small children will find it more unsettling than those without because it prays on the sometimes confused mind of sleep deprived parents which I could very much relate to! The film centres on a couple and their new neighbours who on the surface seem to be a perfect match for them friends-wise until more sinister behaviour begins to surface but is it all imagined in the mind of sleep deprived parents or do their new neighbours really have a sinister agenda? I thought it was a well written story, some have said the ending was over the top but I liked it.
Certainly a film that plays on your mind sometime after viewing.
