Review of The One I Love (2014) by Hugo G — 05 Sep 2014
This movie was way better than I expected in every way. It was extremely interesting, original and twisted in some funny and dark ways. The story was very intriguing and also very complicated. It was a different take at romantic comedies but in a good new way. Mark Duplass and Elisabeth Moss were both great in their respective character(s), and carried the movie on their shoulders very nicely. The only reason I didn't have this movie more than four stars, was that even though it was very ambitious and it went places I only hoped it would go, it took maybe too long to get there and made the first half of the movie feel not so good in comparison. However, this was such a good movie that it really doesn't matter it's rating because of how great it was.
