Review of The One I Love (2014) by Jaret M — 05 Jan 2015
A small, inventive romantic comedy, make that dark comedy, that never offers its audience an easy out. Perhaps its because our two main characters, on a retreat to fix their troubled marriage, have no easy way out themselves.
A smart and endearing film, with two incredibly likable stars, that explores the pitfalls of marriage and identity; who we were, who we are now, who the other person wants us to be, and who we wish they were.
Unique and quaint and worth the effort.
