Bland sci-fi story and bland dialogue, The One actually suffers from the fact that everything is somewhat bland and not laugh-out-loud bad. The fight scenes were alright (though not great), and I'm sure it was a good idea at the time, but the nu-metal soundtrack was horrible (Drowning Pool? Papa Roach? Ugh).
Jason Statham doesn't even get to show off his over the top martial arts moves. Disappointing.
