Review of The One (2001) by Jeff B — 04 Sep 2010
I thought there was going to be more dimension-jumping involved, but the plot was kind of weak and pointless. It's basically "Highlander" but with punching (and "there can be only one" of you, instead of a tournament between different fighters.
) The special effects were good, but pretty much everything else about this film was a let-down. I do like the ending where Yulaw was going to make the entire prison planet his bitch. I kind of wish that had been given some resolution, too.
Just a boring film, in general, with a bit of promise that never delivered.
