Not anywhere near as good as the original - the child actor in the original was a better actor and looked more sinister - the child in the remake just had a comical scowl on his face the whole time which I guess was supposed to look scary but just made me laugh.
Julia Stiles wasn't very good either! The whole thing was just a waste of time and you'd be better off just watching the original as there is nothing different or better about this remake.
