Review of The Omen (1976) by Scott G — 15 Apr 2010
I saw the remake a few years back, which was decent, but realised in never seen original, or indeed its 3 sequels, this is pretty good, very 70s in its aproach for which we got many around this time and years previously, like the shining and rosemarys baby, and I like this type film, gregory peck is exellent as father, acepting a newborn, when his child dies at birth, but, years later all is not what it sems, some exellent moments and tension, and along with the two sequels (forget the fourth a cheap 90s rip off, which I had unfortunate oportunity to also watch at this time, shamefuly its in the boxset.
a good film.
