Review of The Omen (1976) by Erin S — 25 Oct 2010
This film squanders its single most promising resource: The relationship between its leads and their "special" child. Unfortunately, they don't come across as though they ever cared much about him in the first place.
It may as well be someone else's kid for all they care. Taking out a dramatic linchpin like that deflates the whole thing with an audible, wet, sputtery squeal.
