Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Philip A — 23 Mar 2008
This is a sweet cult classic featuring Charleston Heston at his most Charleston-Hestonesque. In other words, there's a lot of overacting with a gritted-teeth grimace. The makeup work for the mutants was terrible, but somehow they're still memorable.
It's definitely a B-Movie Sci-Fi film with a little Blackplotation thrown in for fun.
