Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Ray D — 16 May 2008
Based on 'I Am Legend', and feeling incredibly dated in a good way, the film has Charlton Heston as machine-gun toting, cigar-smoking Christ figure who's at war with a tribe of albino primitives who wear Jawa robes in post-apocalyptic L.
A. Heston, thanks to his vaccine, isn't an albino Jawa....but....can he stop them? Hijinks and Overacting ensue. Not a great movie, but a very fun one.
