Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Mike J — 27 Nov 2008
Entirely watchable but dated film loosely based on Richard Matheson's masterpiece, I Am Legend. It's not a bad story (once you get past the part where it's not Matheson's) and, for the most part, it is executed well but I always find watching Heston awkward and the music is a little too 70s cop show to really capture the mood they should be going for.
Also, for the last man on Earth, there sure are a lot of uninfected humans running around LA.
