Review of The Omega Man (1971) by James M — 19 Dec 2008
It started really well. Heston is, of course, great. But the music!? It never fitted a single scene. Completely awful. And the smack talking black chick with the afro? The 'vampires' were just stupid.
Oh please. They were hardly even vampires at all, as they seem to have casual conversations with the protagonist, and often appear nothing more than petty thugs, or those damn pesky kids playing on your lawn.
I hate to say it, but I preferred I Am Legend.
