Charlton Heston confuses me. I guess in his heart of hearts he was a libertarian... Anyway, this movie may have been OK for the 70's, and it may appeal to hard-core fans of post-apocalypse or zombie films, but for most of us, there are only two reasons to watch the film.
1. You want to watch Charlton Heston gratuitously take off his shirt. (not that exciting).
2. You want to see Charlton Heston kiss a black woman on film. (much more interesting).
