Review of The Old Man & the Gun (2018) by Jon E — 20 Oct 2018
Robert Redford steps back into that comfortable role of the hero with a checkered past that you should really not be cheering for but find yourself doing just that. He plays this one with a light touch.
The film is at its best when its just letting its characters tell the story. Nothing heavyhanded here. It's almost too short. Great sendoff for Mr. Redford.
