Review of The Old Man & the Gun (2018) by Mike K — 18 Oct 2018
Critics, I assume, are being kind to Redford on his announced swan song (as am I in not giving this one star) It's purposely scripted to remove any tension either from robberies or relationships. Just a whimsical little story about a guy who robbed banks asking for the money in a polite manner.
Watching the grass grow from the front porch while offering simple pearls of wisdom like, "You've got to just keep on keepin' on." as a typical moment of the poignancy in the non-romance.
