The film is also overly schmaltzy, sappy, sentimental, nonsensical, and even a bit creepy. It lays on the schmaltz pretty heavily, to the point where it honestly made me a bit sick. There is no real substance here, and no real driven story or characters either.

The film tears at your heartstrings in an exceedingly clumsy manner, and it does so in a way that just feels false and manipulative. I'd say stay far away from this one unless you dig this kind of stuff.
