Review of The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012) by Peter T — 06 Feb 2013
The Odd Life Of Timothy Green is in my words just a very generic movie.
Cindy and Jim Green are a happily married couple who can't wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like. When young Timothy shows up at their doorstep on a stormy night, their wish came true.
This is a Disney movie so it should be very interesting and should be an amazing movie, but as it turns out it isn't great one bit. This movie seems to send a message to everyone about the importance of family, but still this movie was just complete crap.
The cast has Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton, Dianne Wiest and the young CJ Adams. If I were to pick my favorite character out of the entire movie it would have to be none of them. It's a crazy thing to say because I love Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton but they were really bad in this movie. CJ Adams is a kid and he isn't good either. Dianne Wiest is staring in this movie and I didn't care for her at all which really surprises me.
This movie is the definition of a bad Disney movie. We usually can expect great expectations from Disney movies but this movie doesn't offer anything. Ladies and gentleman, I think this movie broke my brain.
