Review of The Odd Life of Timothy Green (2012) by Samir N — 01 Jan 2014
I had to chew coffee beans for 3 hours to get the over-sweetness of this movie out of my teeth. It's THAT bad. The movie makes clear of what it WANTS to do, but poorly executes it. I understand that it's trying to be a heartwarming story, but its flaws are too great to be excused.
The parents are awful parents, and the rest of the characters are just too repulsive to watch. Seriously, if you watch this movie, you're only encouraging more garbage-typical-heartthrob movies to be made.
The ONE redeeming quality is Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton's acting. Unfortunately, THAT can't even save the movie.
