Ive seen many on-the-road comedies.. but this one had me rolling on the floor!! I suppose I was in a mood for a laugh.. dry wit and caustic sarcasm from matthau really tickled me crazy.. some parts were very slapstick but added to the entire appeal of the movie (if there is one).
. haven't seen the original.. but if its anything like this I wouldn't be shy of watching it!
